Our Commitment to Copyright

SocialKing respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and we respond promptly to valid copyright takedown notices.

We Do Not Host Any Content

SocialKing does not store, copy, permanently cache, or host any downloaded videos, images, or audio on our servers. Our tools simply fetch the publicly available media URL from the source platform (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X/Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, Threads, etc.) and pass it directly to your browser for download. The original content always remains hosted by the respective platform. This service operates under the safe-harbour provisions of the IT Act, 2000 (India) and DMCA Section 512 (USA).

Respect Copyright — User Responsibility

All videos, images, reels, and other media belong to their respective creators. You must obtain permission from the original creator before re-uploading, redistributing, monetizing, or commercially using any downloaded content. Our tools are intended for personal, lawful use only. Unauthorized use may violate the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and the DMCA (USA), and is the sole responsibility of the user.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or an agent authorized to act on the owner's behalf) and believe that material accessible through our service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent at support@socialking.in with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice", including all of the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., the exact URL).
  • Your contact information — full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Our Response

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to disable access to or remove the identified material (for example, by blocking the relevant URL or resolver), typically within 48 hours of verification.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to support@socialking.in including: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.

Repeat Infringers

SocialKing reserves the right, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, to block or restrict access for users who are found to repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
